Clothing care & sustainability
Care for your pieces so they last — that's the most sustainable thing either of us can do.
Caring for your pieces
Wash less, wash cold
Most pieces need far fewer washes than we give them — airing a garment overnight often does the job. When it's time, machine wash cold (30°C / 86°F): it protects the fibres, keeps colours true, and uses far less energy.
Turn printed pieces inside out and wash with like colours. Skip the fabric softener on performance fabrics — it clogs the fibres that keep you dry.
Dry gently
Hang dry whenever you can — it's the single kindest thing you can do for a garment (and the planet). If you tumble dry, keep it low.
Performance pieces like skorts should always hang dry; heat is what wears elastane out.
Protect the print
Never iron directly on a printed design. If a piece needs pressing, turn it inside out or iron around the artwork on low heat.
Do not dry clean printed garments — the solvents attack the print.
Small repairs, long lives
A loose seam or missing snap doesn't end a garment's life. Most fixes take five minutes — and every repair keeps a piece in your wardrobe and out of landfill.
Our approach
Made for you, not for a warehouse
Every Volicci piece is made individually when you order it. There are no bulk production runs, no seasonal overstock, and no unsold inventory sent to landfill — the industry's biggest hidden waste simply doesn't exist in our model.
Produced close to you
Pieces are made in the region they ship to whenever possible, which keeps transport distances — and their emissions — down.
Buy once, buy right
We'd rather you buy one piece you love than three you don't. That's why every product page carries honest composition, care and sizing details — and why our pieces are made to be worn for years, not seasons.
